I enjoy problem solving, the more complex the better. I saved a recent client a substantial amount of money by researching alternative workflows to their current one ultimately producing drawings in half the time and more accurately.

Depending on the project, I have a list of trusted businesses and individuals including craftsmen, suppliers, factory owners, fitters and installers who I can rely on for advice and services should the project require it. I don't claim to know everything and their input is based on years in their trade.

I ensure that where possible, you only pay for my time and skillset by utilising open source software. There are many businesses that are unwilling to develop use of alternative software solutions to reduce overheads which are then passed onto their clients, hidden away amongst other items with the belief that having particular software names emblazoned on their site acts as a stamp of quality. You, the client don't care that your project was completed with software that costs £5000 subscription a year, you care that the project was completed without issue and within budget and timeframe. Costly tools are only as good as the ones in control.

The current situation has affected many businesses and individuals. I started GILESPREENEDESIGN after the COVID 19 pandemic hit the events and hospitality industry resulting in myself becoming another economic casualty. I understand the difficulties that many of us are facing and the importance of not only working together but being able to prepare for changes in the way we work and the services we provide to ensure that if the situation continues or if it were to happen again that we are protected as much as we can be.
